Redding swept by Top Speed

In the final game of the League series, Redding was swept by Top Speed 8-3.  It was a pitcher's duel until the top of the 8th when Top Speed blew the game open with a grand slam by Mark Hurley, 2 for 4 with 4 RBIs.  

Eric Gleece got the win with 8 strong innings, 1 run and 4 hits.  Tyler Mautner went 3 for 4 and Patrick Johnson was 2 for 4 with some great plays at short.

Matt Rigby started for Redding and pitched 5 innings with 7 hits.  Jack Shelledy took the loss in relief facing 12 batters giving up 1 hit, walking 3.   Tommy Bell went 2 for 3 and crossed the plate twice.  Zack Jones was 1 for 3 and scored Redding's other run.
